hey esteban can you tell me exactly what values channels 11 and 12 are on when u progrma this black out? also about the CMY, on the design spot 575 elation offers CMY mixing. i don't believe they have CMY as a option to be put in on the design spot 250. thanks. jingles.

switch 7 and 11 on for stand alone mode. 1+7 on = program 1 2+7 on = program 2... All of the programs except #8 (seitch 1+3+7+11) have a strobe part that makes the program look bad. If this is intended then it seems like a mistake.

I forgot the exact model of the controller, but i know for a fact it is a universal controller. The coemars are 16 channels each and the Elation Focus Spot 250R are 11 channels each. Can you tell me how i can set them up? Thank you very Much

There is a way to do fade/no fade using the Midi controller. You can either do it with the virtual controller on the screen, or have an external one. Unfortunately you cannot use a single button to turn the fade on and off with the virtual board, you will have to use 2 buttons, or one of the faders on the board. What you need to do is create a new page. Select the profile, where it says starting address enter in the 1st fixtures address and then where it says number of fixture type in "2". That will give you one page but access to both fixtures. Mega bar 7 channels is ok. if you want more control go for a higher channel layout like 10 or 11 or something. i am not sure of all the addressing modes. no you do not need to matrix. questins are ok. Excuse me for getting low tech and wanting to help you get the job done: 2 suggestions: Power strips/bars and extension cords. If the fuse won't handle the load, it depends where the fuse is inline, and clearly it's in the inbound portion. I thought it would be elsewhere. Use 4 per "daisy chain" and burn 10 or 11 outlets via power strips and extension cords. I mean, if I was under the gun like you are, and I did the math like you did, I'd have come to the same conclusion after about an hour,...

Hi John and welcome to the forums. Yes, that will work. I have done it myself a few times on the Magic 260. Just make sure your patch falls in line. For example, if the light is addressed channel 1, on the console the 6 channel fixture should be patched at channel 17. If it is addressed at channel 11, fixture two on the console should be patched at channel 27, etc etc.

Close - They have profiles for Colorado 2 and Color Dash Batten. Nothing for the Colorado 1 Tour. And for some reason the 11 Channel fixtures are listed as 12 channel ones in the profile list.

It sounds like your addressing is off. Compu live software will auto patch for you however you need to make sure that your fixtures addresses match what is on the software. So when you are patching say 4 moving heads and you want them to start at 11 and you have 4 of them you need to tell the software starting address is 11 and number of fixtures is 4. As far as checking your addresses here is the best way. find your "Pages" tab as shown in the picture. I have circled in red all the starting...

Every color is coming up green, and I've tried using High End Trackspots v1 and high def profiles and am having the same problem. OK Here goes. As of the last beta of CompuShow I tested, the profile editor still did not allow for a fixture to have multiple R, G, or B slots. Therefor, you can patch a matrix with the full profile but the effects will only work for pixel 1. (Very few console manufacturers have this capability built in to their consoles as of yet.) Build a Matrix of 3 Channel RGB Units. It can be handy to open a 3 channel LED fixture profile in the PROFILE EDITOR and name it Pixel and save it as Pixel.

You have to use the assignments mentioned in the DMX Operator manual. When you do that faders 12 - 16 won't do anything (because your fixture only uses 11 of the sixteen available per fixture), but that is OK. Each fixture button will control each CMY Zoom the same.

I don't see the Intimidator Scan LED 300 (8 or 11 channels) preferrably 11 channels. I tried copying these profiles to the "PErsonalities" folder of Emulation and Builder, replacing the old ones but the Intimdator doesn't come up.

It's not really a button. If you are using the fixture in 11 channel mode, the value for turning the Lamp on is channel 11 value 44-59. Likewise to turn the lamp off is channel 11 value 60-79. but this should be built into the profile on your magic. Should be at the end of the list for the fixtures functions. It will probably say Func or something similar and as you tuen the dial it should say lamp on or off. However selecting lamp on or off the lamp won't respond instantly you will have to...

However, I am trying to get it to work with a new windows 7 computer who's stats are: windows 7 home premium 64-bit AMD E-450 APU with Radeom HD Graphics (2CPUs) ~1.6GHz 4096MB Ram DirectX version 11 I installed the DAS-OCX first, then the drivers, and then the program. Snap is where each value starts or ends. for example if channel 1 has different colors, then lets say white is 11-20. the color white will come up before you go into the value range of the color. so there is no delay. thats how snap before works.

Sorry, let me try again... On page 11 of the SD2 manual it states: "Note: Currently you cannot use add mode to combine scenes and then record the combined scenes as a new larger scene." Totally makes sense. I could not find the projection distance in the manual. I unfortunately do not have 40 feet (maybe I do; still not enough) of test room to try it out on. These lights come with 11 different Gobos, too (which I don't have). Just not sure why they bother if you need 41+ feet. I really wish I had one to compare it against. I'm will to make the hike up there, meet some people, too. Let's do it.

I tried and it did not work (probably because I am not doing it right). Sorry this is long winded, but here's what I did. 1. Loaded a master scene 2. Loaded a fixture scene (the one I want to add to the master scene). 3. I select a different color from the fixture. 4. I clicked back into the master page 5. I reselected the scene and selected edit. 6. The light stop moving BUT, all the correct fixtures appear to be on. 7. I press save. 8. I press INIT on the master mage to cancel the show. 9.

DS250 Pro Tilt Error
Hello, I'm trying to chase down a problem on a DS250P with a tilt error. The light will go thru the initial start up routine a couple of times and then give a tilt error while the fixture then starts continually and quickly bouncing off the physical limit stop. Can't run Emulation cues more than once without re-launching software
I have a lighting program put together using the Emulation software with roughly 6 scenes with anywhere from 2 to 11 cues per scene. I'm finding that I can run through the scences once without any problems, but if I run through them again, some of the cues are not functioning properly. Some of the lights won't come on at all, or they come on in a pattern that was not programmed. When I shut down the program and open it again, all of the scenes are as they should be and everything works fine.

Compu Pro Master Buttons??
Why are the button settings for the master page disabled? I need to be able to put them in the order I want them, not in alphabetic order like the program wants them. I tried doing them by Scene 1, Scene 2, Etc, but when I got to 10, 11 and so on it put them back after 1!! This is pretty much gonna be useless for our upcoming Easter Drama if I cant put the Master Scenes in Order, guess ill have to drag the Show Designer back out :-/ .
