Compu Live in Windows XP Mode

I'm trying to setup Compu Live in Windows XP Mode and looking to see if anyone has had success with it. Windows XP Mode is a virtualized 32 bit version of Windows XP that runs under Windows 7 (see more about it here: I've got the DMX USB device appearing in Windows XP device manager, but when I start Compu Live it says no DMS device found. Any advice is appreciated.

i don't think this will work. we have had several customers attempt but have not got it to work properly. i think it is something within the compu interface that does not allow it to work. your best bet is to get a computer that is running XP and that is a 32 bit operating system.

Compu Live WILL work with Win 7, but you must have the NEW dongle and it's associated dongle drivers.

Been running this way for a couple of years now.

Thank you both for the replies. We are on Windows 7 64-bit. I'm assuming that won't work per the download instructions. Is that the version you both or running? Also I'm an IT guy instead of a lighting guy - is there a link for the new dongle/drivers so I can understand more what that is?

the compu 1024 does not work with any 64bit operating system. they will only work on 32 bit drivers. you could buy the new interface that will work with both 64/32 bit drivers.
