im getting ready to add my 8 can lights to my comp live system and thinking about buying the american dj dp 415 dimmer / switch pack will this work for me and let me control my can lights i will have 4 light on one side and 4 lights on the other side of the room and im wanting to be able to turn on the can lights that are only blue or yellow / red / green on each side or ect

Ya it should work. You just need to insert a fixture page with a par can profile found n the generic folder when you spec in your profile. make sure the address matches the packs addresses for the cans.
