After recently upgrading to the latest release of CompuLive, my Design Spots decided to re-orient themselves 45 degrees from the correct Pan setting in the INIT scene, as seen here:

In real life, they still return to the correct setting. What is strange is that if I go into the Page Settings for my Design Spots and change the DMX channels of one fixture to something completely new (like Channels 201 - 216, instead of the current channels 1-16), the light returns to the correct Pan setting in the 3D viewer, as shown here:

I have checked the editor for the INIT scene, and everything looks as it should:

Does anyone have any idea how I can make the fixture return to the correct position on channels 1-16?

It's also worth noting that the Pan movement is not LIMITED to the position shown in the first photo. I can press the hot key for that fixture and PAN it all the way to the correct setting, as shown in the second photo. So I know the profile is correct.

Thanks,
Brian

guys. I believe that it has to do with the initial fixture profile set up.

When the Design Spot 250 was made it had a 630 degree pan angle so the profile was made with 630 degrees'.
Now Design Spot 250 has both 540 and 630 degrees. I'm not sure anyone ever changed the profile.
Modify your Design Spot 250 profile to be 540 degrees and this should correct the issue.
John/James,
Ok. I think I have figured out what is going on here.

What I have discovered is that it has to do with my MASTER INIT scene. When I open this scene, the X and Y channels for all 4 Design Spots are set to 0, like they should be. But if you notice in my file that I sent, the channels are set to "EasyStep". So, as a last resort, I decided to copy and paste the "Off" channels of some other fixtures to the 4 X and Y channels of the Design Spots. For SOME reason, this fixed the problem.

Now, the fixtures rest in the true 0 degree pan position when the MASTER INIT scene is selected. I still don't understand why that would make a difference: EasyStep vs. OFF, but it does.

So, thanks to both of you for helping me with this problem. Perhaps this IS a software bug, but I have established a work-around for now.

Thanks,
Brian
