I installed a lighting system in a church and used Compu 1024EC for control. No overall problems, but have an issue with pages set-up and then specifically the master page.
I have four fixture types/purpose, and therefore set up four pages for control and programming: House Lights - Altar Lights - Stage Lights - LED Washes. Where I run into a problem is with all the conventional fixtures. They are plugged into 4-channel dimmer packs, i.e. I am forced with 4 sequential DMX addresses for the dimmer, and therefore the 4 fixtures. BUT, some of these fixtures for each dimmer are House, and others may be Altar and Stage. In the PAGES setup I cannot actually delete the DMX channels, only have them unpatched so they do not affect to other pages. Therefore, in the individual pages, everything works fine, but I cannot assign all of the pages to the MASTER page, b/c I get a prompt saying I have duplicate DMX addresses in the pages. The church would like to have simple "looks" or scenes they can use from the Master page and not have to deal with the individual pages...any suggestions?
