Have an Elation 260 with my Martin MX-4's. Elation sent me the profile for the MX-4's, but the Lamp Off Command does not work. Per Martin, "Ch 1 (Shutter) must be set to "Lamp OFF" 250-255. as well as Channel 2 (color) and Channel 3 (gobo) greater than 252, hold for five seconds." The profile Elation sent me has "SALONE" for CH 2 and CH 3, which , per the MX-4 book, means 210-255 for CH 2 and 240-255 for CH 3. Why won't it work? Can I edit it? I read that just turning the power off is not good for the lamp life.... Please help! I'm sort of a newbie! Funny thing is, I can try to "trick" the Lamp Off Command by setting the fixture to an MX-1, and setting CH 2 and CH 3 to 255???? So I know the lamp off command in the lights is working....
