Generic PAR 64 Scenes Not Saving Dimmer Intensity

When you create your new scene are you making sure you save it? I'm not sure if i am following you. Are you saying that you re addressed the pars in the software and on the packs and now when you save a scene it does not save? Explain to me how you are saving your scene. Welcome to the forums.

I'm going through our pages and setting the colors/motion/positions/par brightness then I'm clicking back on Master to save it to the master page and clicking SCENE>NEW SCENE. All moving heads/LEDs are saving the settings, but the par cans are not saving. By that I mean- I may create a scene with 50% brightness, well, when I click off that scene to another scene, they stay at 50% brightness. I then have to assume full manual control of the par brightness. If I manually adjust them back to 100% brightness- then go back to the scene I just created with 50% brightness, it does not re-adjust to 50%. This was not the case until I deleted all of our pages recently and re-configured them.

Is that a better explanation?

so they save on the fixture page but not the master page? If that is the case make sure that the "Crown" icon next to the par can page(s) is on. This is available in the pages tab? I believe i have a picture somewhere.
This picture hopefully helps.

the actual scene button saves and all other lights function the way I save them, it's just the Par cans whose intensity/settings did not save with the scene.

I reinstalled CompuLive and opened our archive file and it seems to be working now? weird!

Ya weird. did you install the latest from our website? The latest is Sept. 29 2009. I am trying to get a newer version posted soon.

actually, I installed from the disk. I should probably download the new version because I'm getting a lot of crashes when I delete scenes.

yes always run the latest release. This one will be the latest but we should have a new version up hopefully within a week.

That is a direct link to download the latest. always remember to back up your work files. Even copy them to the desktop will do fine.
