Make sure you have the mega pixel in the right channel mode. Also don't use the profile for the 24 channel mode. Just use * Generic RGB fixtures in the Generic folder in the scan library. This software does not support that many RGB channels on one fixture. But the work around is the RGB profiles. Let me know if you under stand this or if you need further instructions. Sincerely,
i look at the generic profile but is sayes it only has 3 channels ...
what im trying to build is like the video where only 1 light comes on at a time like its shooting down the bar till the bar is full i attched the video link from adj that part of the video im talking about starts at 33 sec on the video
Yes you should be able to do that program in 16 channel mode. No there is no way to transfer scenes and switches. One reason being different channels. Sincerely,
You need 24 channel mode for that. And to be able to properly program it in the 3D and use the FX generator you need to take my advice and use the RGB profile i suggested earlier. Yes it is 3 channels but if you have 8 sections of R G B and the profile is 3 channels, when you insert the profile and it asks number of fixtures you put in 8. 8 X 3= 24. So therefore on the fixture page of RGB you will have control in the scene edit window of all 24 channels and you will also be able to use the Fx generator. Make sense? Also the manual will not tell you how to program chases it simply tells you what channel modes are available to you so you can figure out which channel mode to use to best suit your programming needs. Any more questions? Sincerely,
Also on the video that was clearly a built in chase program which can be accessed in 7 channel mode and up except for 24 channel mode. the channel for that will be macros/programs. Sincerely,
No, what i mean is did you set up the fixture to respond to 24 channels of dmx? Like in this picture. did you change the settings on BOTH of your mega pixels to this??
ok i got that working like i said above .. but is there now away to have 2 light fixture with each light fixture have its own 24 channels run different light sequences ? if so can you explain please
Yes of course. Repeat this process again but start your second fixture at channels 89. so go to page, new page, select generic RGB. Starting address is 89. number of fixtures is 8. Make sure you address the second mega pixel to start on channel 89. Sincerely,
