I am totally new to this product, so I have tons of questions. I really appreciate anyone who can help me out of a dire situation.
1) If I have a total of 8 par lights, does that mean lights 1-4 goes to dimmer pack 1, and lights 5-8 goes to dimmer pack 2?
2) Where the dimmer pack is connected to the board, does it matter which DMX out jack I plug into? Or they totally identical, with no specifc reference to the channels?
3) Should I then be operating the system in a 2x8 mode, and each light is controlled by channel 1 to 8 on the board?
Can I control each light individually, and through the master?
Can I use the bump button to create effect?
Can I use the tab button to create effect?
My ultimate question is, will these all work in 2x8 mode?
4) The original lights that come with the Par38 looks dim. So I switch them to halgoen 150 watt flood (120v) Will that affect how the system is supposed to work? I don't want the system to quit on me middle of the show.
