Stop the lights from going out

Hi,

I'm really new at all of this, but I've ended up being one of the people who work with the lighting system at my church and there is something with the computer controls we can't figure out. We use the Elation Professional Compu 2006 system, and when the computer is left idle, the lights all turn off. The program is still open, and the computer isn't sleeping, but when no one moves the mouse or touches the controls for an unspecified time (it can happen after just 5 seconds, or go for 2 hours without happening, it's random) the lights will go out. They come back on the instant someone touches the mouse. Does anyone know what might be off with the settings that could cause that. It seems that it must be a computer issue since it's all linked to weather or not the computer is receiving input.

hello,

that sounds like its a setting on your computer. you might have to turn off the timing off mode on your computer. this will prevent from the interface losing power and signal to your lights.
