Ok so here it goes....everyone has seen or heard of martins light jockey and how someone has made an addon for a wireless gamepad option to control Movers for XY movementand scene creation and so on....

Just wondering if elation plans on trying to include this in the future or if anyone with programming skills would take this project on.

was hoping elation would take this onwith a few other upgrades to the software such as 1 fixture having multiple CMY mixing options as many new LED fixtures have more then just one section of CMY mixing. Its just that there hasnt been a real big upgrade in the software for a while....hint hint

Having this option for some ppl or even everyone this would be a great feature to have.

Well with martin light jockey someone on their own created a program to work with the software to allow the X and Y axis movement to be controlled by a wireless gaming controller, buttons can be programmed to switch between fixtures and save scenes, it can be enhanced by allowing buttons to control color and gobo fucntions or even easier assignable button to any channel fucntion.

So say if i was alone tryin to do a focus i can set the software up and run out on stage with a controller and move each fixture until its focused with out having to run back and forth.
Multiple CMY? That's a new one for me too. Some have CMYG (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Green) since green is one of the weakest colors for CMY, but never heard of two CMY systems. Some also have variable CTO and/or CTB. x.Spot is a fixture that comes to mind that had both variable CTO and CTB. Of course, on of the reasons it failed is because a) too many features in a small case caused heat issues and b) channel count was way too high for the time. 38 channels for standard and 28 for reduced when most fixtures where less then 20 and people where only using about 4 universes at the most.

Maybe you confused it with multiple flag CMY? Please post a link if I am wrong, because I am interested as well. Individual RGB control for each 'pixel' I will agree is a must add since it is becoming more and more popular.
That makes more sense now. And hey, their are LED movers and more appearing. Elation i actually the mainstream forerunner for LED moving heads with the Impression line. Its about to get bigger as well.

As for LED bars like that, you can simply do what I do and split the bars into different fixtures. I do this all the time with ColorBlazes since the channels are simply RGBRGBRGBRGB over and over again depending on how many ways you split them. Some fixtures can't however since they have added features like dimming, color marco's, strobe, chases, etc. Just an idea for you to try to make life easier, does for me all the time. Its how I did this:

12 ColorBlaze 72s in two rows split into 4 sections each. You can see the streaks of green purple green purple green purple etc.
