I just received a new ART SSC which i had to wait two weeks to get. When connected to my computer I can see the device but it wont output DMX. It shows a 0 for serial number , there is no date and if i try to upgrade the firmware it just sits there (i let it sit overnight even) I tried calling in for tech support but got nowhere. Can someone please help me determine if this is a defective item or user error. Im pretty sure its a problem with the ART SSC. Ive tried going through a router , also direct to the computer and also through network switch. Nothing worked. I tried disabling any firewall etc , no luck. Please help , i have gigs coming up
