Is there a way to make the buttons turn a light/s on when you press it, and then turn out when you let go? I know how to program them to be a certain millisecond on or some such thing. Is there a way to make them act like old light board buttons where press means on and release means off?

you mean a flash button? Ya when you set up a keyboard trigger by pressing the ctrl key and then a keyboard key press whatever you used to set the trigger twice. the key that you used will be green to represent flash or blue to represent no flash.

I'll have to look and see if that works for me. Will the light/s keep being lit until I release the button this way?
