Elation Stage 8 controller help

man I hate manuals! I cant seem to be able to get scenes created or program my own chase modes. the preset chases work ok, Im new to this so i need help, I have the stage 8 and 2 dimmer packs one set to 001 and the second to 005, connected together with dmx cable, has anyone got a video out there how to program the stage 8??
appreciate any help
