LED Tape profile

I purchased an LED encoder from Amazon. I currently use an Elation Emulation with Midicon controller. The Dimmer fader will not dim my LED tape. I can’t figure out how to write a profile in Builder to make it control the tapes dimmer function. I want to be able to pull a fader and have the LED Tape turn off. If I program in a scene stack the tape turning off it will but I still don’t have manual control…

Help?

hi, that decoder looks like it is just 8x RGB, so there is no dimmer channel, you'll have to use the virtual dimmer in emulation, so patch in from the "Generic" a RGBx8 fixture, then in the patch window, click on the newly patched RGBx8 fixture than click properties, then enable the virtual dimmer.
