I'm in the process of programming my newly acquired SD1 so that as much as possible of what I want to do can be triggered via MIDI. Sadly the manual only suggests this can be Scenes, so I've put some things (e.g. colours for my LED strips) on Presets, which I used on the fly last weekend just fine. BUT when I turn any Preset off, it turns off ALL current running Scene too which is annoying me immensely. I was trying to use Presets for some things as I thought it was independent from what Scenes were doing, to get around the Scenes 'turn off any scene and you get blackout' behaviour.
How do I save things into Scenes so I can trigger them via MIDI AND not have a total blackout whenever I turn off one of them? i.e. so I could turn off a scene which has my strobes running at full speed/dimmer but then not take out the LED bars, scanners etc as well?
