Hey Jingles or someone,
Got a question, I have been using myDMX for sometime and have been thoroughly pleased with it. However, I'm just running tired of scene based programming and would like to have more control sitting in front of me. I wish I had the money to go with the SD3 but right now just isn't good. I have found a SD2 and am highly considering it. One thing I was curious about though was profiles. I took a look at some of the new ones and since I don't have the console yet to see what comes pre-installed I need to make sure my fixtures are either installed or BETTER yet, that there is a Profile Creator in which I can simply make my own profile. I have no problem with that, I do it all the time with myDMX, but I wanna be sure before I spend the money. Your thoughts?

Hi Lazer,

Showdesigner 2 and 3 come preloaded with semi-profiles for Elation and ADJ fixtures plus a few popular Martin, High end and Robe fixtures.
However yes, the SD2 and 3 have a profile creater you can download.
As well as a bunch of pre made profiles.
Although the consoles come pre loaded with Semi-profiles it is highly recommended to use the full profile to get the best control and features of the console.
We don't preload all full profiles because there is not enough room in the memory. We don't recommend to load all full profiles either.
Both consoles come with CF cards to hold the memory of profiles you will need and use them as needed in the console.
