Well it was strange.
I ran the SD + interface, ran Compu Show, brought up a scene and my lights all flickered, as if strobbing as fast as they could. I didn't have time to isolate the problem as to which type of lights were doing it, and since I couldn't fix it immediately, I had to dump Compu Show.
Signal Chain:
SD+ to Elation OptoBranch/4.
OptoBranch/4 down a 200' AccuCable 3-wire DMX cable.
Went to 4 Mega Panels, then to 4 64 LED Pros, then through 8 Mega Bar 50's and finally into 4 more 64 LED Pros that had a DMX terminator at the end.
Using MyDMX with the same interface, I had no issues. So, it's not the lights, it's not the interface, it's not the cabling, it's not the distro/splitter, it's either Compu Show itself OR something I'm not doing right in Compu Show. It is VERY likely it is a ME issue, having possibly done something wrong in Compu Show.
Again, I did not bother to go check and see if all the lights were flickering like this. I saw problems and went into fail-over mode.
I'm going to set up some lights to play with so I can actually see what's going on in case the 3D Visualizer isn't able to show me what I need to see.
