VisionScan 575 Heat Error

Hello,

I have two older model Elation VisionScan 575 scanners (they are of the square body type, I can post pictures if needed).

These fixtures worked great for a while and recently both have come up with the HEAt error and do no lamp on anymore.

I've tried letting the fixtures sit to see if it would get past the error but it does not.

All of the DMX functions work fine, it's just that the fixture won't lamp on.

I can't find a manual for this fixture online and I'm kind of lost as to what to try next. Could someone please give me some advice on what steps I should take next?

hello,

it sounds like it could be a heat sensor. can you give me the serial number for these fixtures? ill check and see if we still have parts for these units.

Here are the details on the SN sticker.

VISION 575
02050259
TYPE: SN 575

I've went ahead and ordered replacement lamps just to be sure it's not a lamp issue. This fixture takes the double ended lamp by the way.

can you send me an email with a picture of the actual fixture? i think this might be a fixture we no longer carry parts for. i just want to verify.

My fixtures are Elation brand, but they are exactly the same as some Robe scanners when it comes to physical appearance.

I figured this out when I found that I had to use the Robe profile on my console to get DMX control over these.

ok i see. those fixtures are actually no longer supported through us. robe handle the support for those fixtures.
