Hi, I am new to Onyx Lighting Software and am learning on the OnycPC set up at home.
My question is, My 2D Plan View is only showing a blank screen.
I have loaded the demo show and have started a new show and created the 2d plan view window bur there is no menu bar at the top and no Page 1 at the bottom.
can anyone help with this?

unfortunately though, when I choose the 2d plan view window it is empty.
there are no buttons at the top of the window.
Live - Highlight - settings - nothing.
What release version of ONYX are you using? Are you using a monitor thats 1080p?
Also try Windows scaling setting or the resolution is too low on your monitor, if you can, post a screen shot so we can better advise.

thanks, here is a screenshot of the 2d plan view window selected in the training showfile included within the software download.
I have tried un installing and re installing as well.

The Software version is 4.4.1193.0
The Monitor is in 1080
Here is another screenshot of one of the other windows where the buttons do show.
Actually, it seems that all other windows do show the buttons at the top of their windows and it seems like the only one that doesnt is the 2d plan .

Hi, thats strange, can you tell me the specs of the computer? CPU, RAM, SSD? Windows 10?

Acer all in one Touch, Windows 10 64bit, I5-3230 @2.6GHz, 8gig Ram and 382 of free space on the HDD.
OK so it may be a direct X issue, so here's what you should do,
Uninstall ONYX, reboot the computer, then install this version of direct X: https://files.obsidiancontrol.com/s/ZedAjLKT7ddFFMA
then reinstall ONYX and it should.
