What are the units of measurementused in the construction mode. For example, i took the "Trusscirctri4m" from the object library. In the settings box it says its width is 4.05. is that meters?

also, is there a way to have a drape fill just the center of the circular trust, as if it were a circular video screen?
Yes you can actually spec which type of units also. meters or feet. and the dimension will display accordingly after you restart the 3D. here is a screen shot.
Also About adding a scrim u can create your own shape using the simple objects editor. it is the button right next to the one highlighted in red in the above pic. you simply can use a pre made shape or create your own and then add a texture to it. Let me know if you need more help on this or more detail.

is there a way to group obeject and fixtures. For example i am trying to put 4 mac2K on a 4 meter truss. That is no problem. But i want to take that truss w/the fixtures and rotate and move them as a group. Is this possible?
No u can only do objects or fixtures at a time. but once u move the truss re group the fixtures and they will stay in place. you just have to reposition them.

so out of no where my 3-d visualizer stopped working and closed. Now when i try to reopen it a dialogue box pops up saying "3D Visualizer Stopped Working"
So what i have done is uninstalled and re-installed compu from the disc. The same thing continued to happen. I then tried to re-install the latest update and then a new box comes up saying there are errors occurring while it is replacing files. Any idea what is going on?

save your work and the uninstall and delete the sl2006 folder. MAKE sure you put your files elsewhere like the dekstop till you reinstall. Try that. let me know.
