Adding a Fixture Question

If a fixture is not on the software itself and you have to use the internet to find a certain fixture (in my case the Chauvet Par 200B's) do I have to be connected to the internet everytime I want to control one of these lights or can my software recognize once I've uploaded it and I go do a show elsewhere?

Once you find it from the server it is copied to your library. however that profile should have been in the software.
