All scenes in All pages popping up window contain "Easy Step"

I got fixed by rebooting computer.

I was trying to setup keyboard triggering. As mentioned in the manual, when I choose scene -> settings and then try to setup a trigger key (after enabling the check box) say by pressing Control and 'q' . For some reason it does not show up the character in trigger key field. Even if I cancel the settings screen, from then onwards when I press scene in any page it will pop up the windows mentioned earlier. I also see two boxes in the scene I pressed

hi skw, ctrl click on ANY button opens the button editor. All you need to do to set a keyboard trigger is first click on the button once to activate it or select the button by holding down shift and left clicking on it. Now you can hold down ctrl and press any keyboard key and you will be assigning that key to that scene.
What release date of the program do you have? you can find out by going to the "?" and clicking "About" and the release date will be in the splash window that appears, for example, June 8th 2010. Let me know how it goes.

I thought of upgrading the product but with new year party in a few days no way I can get new dongle. And then all learning curve of new one.

Oh I don't mean updating to the compu show software. We have new releases for compu live that are updated versions of the same program but with bug fixes etc. Those updates are free. I have a release date of compu live from May of this year. It would be as simple as installing over the current one you have. so which date do you have?

Yup if you install into the same directory (SL2006 folder) it will simply overwrite the old data with the new. you shouldn't loose anything. However I always tell people to save a copy of any profiles that were sent/made and a copy of the .ssh file to the desktop and anything else you have created.
