Any advice on using an Akai APC 40 controller with Compulive?

I am trying to set up an Akai APC 40 controller up to work with Compulive. Anyone have any advice or experience with this process or something similar to it? Want to start breaking into external controllers in conjunction with my software and am assuming that any MIDI controller will work. So just wondering if anyone has any advice for a noob? Thanks in advance!

Once the files are pasted, does it function the same as the map illustration you sent to Sushihat? Just basically right cligk a button in compulive and assign it to MIDI at the bottom to get the playback buttons programmed? Thanks again!

I could use this as well. I have an APC40 i'd like to try to use to control compulive.

Instead of having to email these instructions to each individual person, why doesn't elation store stuff like this in the cloud?

once downloaded open up the zip file and copy the contents to the C:\SL2006\Common\Console folder. and then close the window and launch the program.
However here also is a link to the latest compu Live release and it very well may have the APC 40 midi map in it already.
