Behringer Eurolight LD6230

Hello,
I am attempting to use the Touch 1 with the cuety programmer to control 2 Behringer LD6230 dimmers. I have found a profile in the Builder program, exported, then uploaded the user.personality file to the ipad via itunes. Unfortunately i am unable to find the personality. I have looked under the Behringer manufacturer, nothing, and there is not a {user} tab under the Manuf. column, please help.

-As I have been playing with it, I now have a {Behringer} tab under the manufacturer column but the personality file is not under the model column

Hi, if the file uploaded to the app correctly then it should be "[Behringer]" then a list of their fixtures. and it should appear at the top of the list.

I have the [Behringer] tab but it is not giving me a list of fixtures. I made sure to select the LD6230 in the personality builder before exporting but does not seem to be loading to the ipad.

Be sure you are going to the apps section and scrolling down to Apps that show up under the file sharing part, click the "Cuety" app and then click the "add file" button and import the user.personality file. Then synchronize the device if you can, it might help.

I was able to upload your file and see the new manufacturers and models but it did not have the behringer profile. At least it proved it should work. Not sure why the export I create won't show models for the behringer though. Maybe doing something wrong in the builder?

Ya, the cuety app doesn't support sub fixtures at all, it's best to use generic dimmers. Sorry for the confusion.

That's no fun. I attempted to assign generic dimmers to the channels but no luck. So am I out of luck as far as using the cuety app to run the behringer ld6230 dimmer packs?

why can't you assign dimmers? Go to patch, highlight 8 fixture boxes, tap the Personality button, find the Generic section and choose Dimmer 01x and that will patch in 8 dimmer channels for you in a linear addressing like a dimmer pack.

Sorry, to clarify, I am able to assign the generic dimmer personality but it does not control the lights. The dimmer packs are manually able to control the lights, and the cuety system is able to control other fixtures. I will play with the settings a little more today and see if there something I am missing. Thank you for advising.

out of curiosity, is Cuety the only supported software for the Emulation Touch1 or is there another software that might support subfixtures? Been playing with the profiles for an hour or so an the Generic dimmers personality nor any other will control the dimmer pack channels.

I think maybe your dimmer pack is not in DMX mode? I would verify that.

The Touch1 will only work with the cuety app.

It is in DMX mode. I can switch it to manual and control the lights from the box but when I switch to DMX mode, nothing happens. Even made sure the start channel is set to 1 on the first pack and 7 on the second.

if you can patch lights in the app then for sure the touch 1 box is connected and working. and if you have dimmers patched to all the channels the two packs can use, it should do something....
IF other lights work on the same DMX run, then even more so. Seems like a really odd issue.

yeah, may need to bring in some physical professional eyes to investigate. Thank you so much for your help in trying to figure this out. If I do get it working I will be sure to post and share.
