Chauvet dmx-752 strobe to dmx controller

Is there a fixture for this product. Let me know if you need more description of the product.

To me it looks like it takes any strobe that isn't DMX and makes it so you can control it via DMX. However, I am sure there are certain limits to what it can handle. For example, a 75w strobe might be fine, but a 250w strobe might be bad news. Don't know for sure without the manual and can't find any literature on it.
