color wheel and gobo wheel not centering on startup design spot 250

i need help with my growing issues with my design spot 250 fixture...my color wheel and gobo wheel align half way on start up so the output looks like half an affect on both ...i manually reset the gobo option using the menu on the panel and it locks into center but then all off a sudden both color and gobo get off centered..i orginally thougth it was a motor but when i checked inside motors fired up from what i could tell....i was wondering if it might be a sensor error ?

It does sound like a sensor issue. Try a hard reset first. Via the menu go to specs, hit enter. Then go to dfse hit enter. It will say off, arrow up to on then hit enter. Also inspect the sensor for any dust or debris.
