Compu live software locking up computer

The compu live start up screen stays on the computer has to be restarted to remove it this is after I updated it to the last Dec 10 update it has been fine before that reloaded the original cd and still has same problem after removing the program and folders have a big show on Friday please help running a Dell laptop xp with sp3 32

Yes James it is but I did a uninstall and removed the folders ran the CD that came in the box but it did the same thing
