Design Spot 575e lamp turns off, then fires back again

I have two DS 575e units, and one is having this problem. It will mostly fire on with the first DMX command, but not always. Then it will fire, work for five, ten, sometimes thirty minutes, then the lamp shuts off. Still responding to all DMX commands. Then after five, ten, sometimes thirty minutes, it will fire back on and work for a bit.

Heat temperature sensor? Power supply? Capacitor? Ballast?

check your fans first. it sounds like the lamp is thermal-ling off.
