Just added 2 Design Spots - and stuck with a congiguration mystery. Can not get lamp off to work even though cmds and config looks right - DLOF os ON, RDMX off, LAAU off and lamp up cmd works fine, DMX disp monitor ch 16- shows DMX 41 for lamp on cmd and 61 for lamp off but unit does not respond to lamp off. Any other parameters I am missing or conditions fixture needs to be in for lamp off? got to be something stupid... two fixtures doing the same thing. any ideas out there.

Your settings on the fixture appear to be correct. One way to find the proper value for lamp off (as it varies from different console profiles) is to select each value individually. Start with value 40, wait 20 seconds then move on the 41 if it doesn't lamp off.

If you go from dmx value 40 - 59 this way, and do not get a lamp off please post back or call the service dept.

Thanks!
Further investigation found that manually sending the commands from a beam lable worked. It turns out that the command persistance for Lamp On and Lamp Off needs to be at least about 8 seconds - discovered emprically by measuring how long the equivalent lamp off value (manual setting in a custom Beam lable on Leprecon LPX controller) took before fixture went off. Leprecon updated the LPX fixture library for the Design Spot 250 to 10 seconds (use library 129 or higher) and both lamp on / off work properly. Additionlly on a separate but related issue for a Power Wash 250, a lamp on message was created in the LPX fixture profile can use the LPX lamp on control - as there is no formal lamp on command - just a 255 open shutter. End result is all fixtures can be managed in a consistent way through control page lamp on / off. (same LPX 129 library or higher)
