Hi we have a 15 r spot pro that I believe has a pan motor that needs to be replaced. Whenever it turns on it doesn’t go through it’s entire motor rest and when it’s finally done I’m unable to to pan up and down. Any suggestion?

Greetings, just to confirm during start up it Tilts up and down but once completed you are unable to tilt up and down? if so then check if there is any resistance on the head itself. this will indicate if the motor is energized. if there is no resistance at any time (start up etc) then check the belt if there is but no control then confirm if there are any errors, this would be indicative of a failed main pcb (possible bad driver) lastly check the harness at the tilt optical and magnetic sensor as well as from the driver board to the stepper motor. the same applies to Pan motor.
