Emulation? | Elation Lighting Forums

I see Emulation listed on the web site. Has anyone used this? If so how does it compare to Compu? Is it eventually going to replace Compu?

B No way emulation will replace compu. it's from a completely different development team. And is a entirely different software all together. I have the software downloaded and am figuring it out bit by bit. I'm waiting on my cable to ship. however there is no 3d viz for this software but you can use a 3rd party viz program. not quite sure how to hook all that up yet. I Think you need the interface. anyways download it for your system and read the manual and play with it. By the way if you read the manual the links in there are not the current links.

Thanks! I don't really use the 3d viz so if it did a few things that Compu has problems with for me it would be worth taking a look.

Emulation is pretty simple and straight forward which is the nice thing about it.

Simple cue and cue list writing to a fader.
