I recently bought a ROBE 1024 a re-brand of the show designer, you are supposed to be able to load profiles through a USB however I cannot seem to format it so that it works with the controller. a little advice would be good!

Profiles can be loaded with a CF card or over the RS232 port. To use the port you need to install the SD backup program that lets you communicate. USB requires a USB to Com adaptor. Install the SD backup program and read the instructions.

you mite need a smaller USB card Somtimes if the storage is to large the console will not see it and cause error
What is your question? Are you saying your controller does not have a CF slot on the back?
Yes exactly there is no slot for a cf card
what would you suggest? there is a USB slot but it just keeps saying the disk driver is not installed, how would I get hold of this?

The USB slot is for a work light, it's power only. You must have a very old unit if there is no CF card slot unless it was removed for some reason. Go to the SD2 page on the Elation web site to download the SD backup software.
