Help with software choice

I am new at this. I currently own My DMX. I'm happy with it except I would like to have timeline sync capability with music and access to pre programmed chases. Will Compu Live be as good of a choice or would I need to go with the Compu show. I have mostly PAR 64 cans with and a laser. My lights are used for Mixed Martial Arts events. Nothing very technical, except I wanted more control over music syncing than I can get with My DMX. Thanks

My confusion about selecting software might be more about selecting the Dongle or (interphase). I am specifically interested in obtaining Easy Show. It seems from my reading that Easy Show comes with the CompuLive software but may not be active unless you have the 2048FC hardware. If I have the 1024 the Easy Show would not be useable. Can anyone confirm this for me ? Thanks

That is correct. The 1024 will not be triggered by the Easy Show time line. you should be able to still use easy show and then save the scenes as a cycle on the master page in the Compu Live program.
If your looking to get a new interface I recommend the Compu Show SD as it will run the compu Show software as well as Compu Live and will do Easy Show on both generations of the Compu program. Here is a link too the Compu Show SD. And also a link too the Compu Show program.
