The absolute best way to tell is when the program first boots up it will say for example, a 1024Ec will appear in red text as a 1SL1024EC or a 2048 FC will appear as 1sl2048FC. The 2048Fc is white and the 2048FC+ is orange. And the 1024Ec is a blue color or Grey. The newer interfaces Compu show SD is white and has a mini USb connector port on the back rather than the standard printer USB port. also some of the newer ones have a small slip in the back for a micro SD card. Welcome to the forums. If you have any questions let me know.
Sincerely,
Hi James - thanks - and we met at LDI in Vegas. Some of these theatres I have updated the software to a newer version than the original disc shipped with the interface - will the software detect and "announce" the proper interface in this case?

Also, more specifically, one interface that I'm thinking of upgrading to Compu-Show is a red one... but again, I don't remember which version that is...

Thanks so much - VERY much looking forward to a manual on the Compu-Show or more video tutorials...

thanks!

Hey Don. Did I give you a little walk through of compu show and you gave m a list of ideas for the program? I remember you.
Yes the program will tell you the model interface. If you don't catch it at start up simply go to the "?" and click about.
The Red one is most likely a 2004 model, probably compu Pro 04 or maybe compu Club.
Yes The manual SHOULD be done sometime soon and afterwards I'll have more time to make videos.
Sincerely,
Hey James - yes, I had the list of ideas. The addition of pallettes is the biggest improvement that I'm really happy about and I want to upgrade one or more of the interfaces here to take advantage of that.

I know for sure that the red interface is not a 2004, but I'll check it like you've recommended and see for sure which 06 it is.

I downloaded compu-show from the website - it that the most current version?

thanks again - don
