hi i am looking to buy a elation show designer controller but i dont really know the difference between the two and three ?

The main difference is size. The SD2 is 1024 DMX channels using 2 DMX universes and the SD3 is 1536 DMX channels using 3 DMX universes. The SD3 is much larger physically as well as it has more faders and larger buttons. They both operate in a similar fashion but there are more features on the SD3 like programmable playback faders and conventional dimmer control.
Is there anyway i can view all the full features on the sd2 and sd3 ? Thanks

well i am looking to hook up about 6 to 10 moving heads and 6 trackspots plus i have a few led bars and parcan lights. but i will like to control the leds and parcan lights separate from the moving heads and trackspots. also can you preset the buttons on the sd2 for colors and strobe . do you think the sd2 is good to do what i want and more
If you use the factory profiles for the lights you will get color and strobe presets already made. You can also make your own. To control the two types separately, make scenes with only one type of light.
