Monitor?

Hey Guys,
Does the SD3 have the ability to have an external monitor setup to view presets, memories, etc? Or is this something outside of its abilities? I see on the product page for it the zip file for SD3 Monitor set-up, but is this what I am looking for?

The SD monitor is a program that runs on a PC connected to the SD3. It has a several screens for viewing the contents of memories and fixtures.

I understand. Is this something that can operate off a laptop? Or do I need to buy RS232 converters to make it connective to my computer?

To use it with your laptop you will need a USB to RS232 converter cable. You can also try downloading the program and then read the help file once it's installed. This will give you some idea of what it does.
