Moving heads not facing "forward"

As a mobile DJ, we don't need moving heads to cover 360-degrees of space. Instead, we just need them to face forward and that's pretty much it.

With the CompuShow software, the heads think they're pointing straight down on a dancefloor. I've tried to limit the X/Y parameters, but this just makes the movement area smaller--it doesn't shift the "center" that the fixture faces to the front (i.e. the dancefloor).

So my question is whether or not it's possible to make a head act more like a scanner? In other words, point forwards so that the patterns project in front of the dj booth area (for the most part) and not all around it.

hello,

all this is possible, but you need to program this your self. you can even edit the presets and adjust to your liking. this wont be easy but it is possible.
