Need to upgrade from a 1024EC to Compu Cue Basic....?

I currently have the 1024EC dongle and I want to upgrade to the newer interface and software, so I got a few questions....

1) Can I can upgrade to Compu Cue Basic for $299.95?
2) Does Compu Cue Basic allow for use and integration of Easy show? (ie setting up a show on a timeline and playing it back)
3) This all supports 64-bit Windows 7?
4) Have you guys considered that some of us run shows 4 times a week and it would kill us to have to be without DMX via the dongle while we wait 3-4 weeks for the upgrade process to complete? I know it would me because CompuShow is all that I use to run the light shows we do.

Thomasn, to answer your questions.
1) Yes you can get it at that price if you use the upgrade option.
2) No, Compu cue basic gives you about 70% of all the functionality and features of the program unfortunately Easy show is not one of them. Even the 1024EC model you have now does not support Easy show triggering. The new models that support Easy Show are the compu Show SD and Compu Show SD+.
3) Yes the compu cue basic, Compu cue, Compu show SD and compu show SD+ all support 64 bit windows system types.
4) Yes we do understand that however we simply cannot just ship out new dongles before we receive the older model ones. This is something you would have to discuss with the service manager I believe.

Think I will upgrade to the Basic and keep doing the poor man's easyshow of MTC and Cubase timelines.

Now to see if I can get that month vacation time so I can send the 1024 back for upgrade or just buy a cheap controller for emergency's.
