Plat spot 5R turning off

I have 1 unit that just shuts off, I have changed lamps 2 times so its not the lamp. I have raised the temp to see if the shutoff command was the issue. I have put it on 3 different consoles with one sequence running and it shuts off. I have another unit that i set up to mirror it and that one is fine. Any thoughts?

check the fans, they may still be turning but it may not be fast enough.

Thank Gines, so now I have it out on the bench and i can see it trying to strike but its not holding, power supply? or ignitor? What ya thinking?

sounds like a ballast issue. if under warranty send you info to service at elation lighting dot com.

I currently have the same issue with two of my fixtures, the lamps keep turning off after a couple minutes of turning on. I have reset the lights multiple times. The lamp will turn back on after a few minutes but could this be an overheating issue?

hi Robert, check your fan first. make sure its turning at a rapid speed. if unsure compare to another unit without issues. sometimes as fans wear the RPM slows down causing thermal issues.
