Each Platiunum spot can have a few different channel modes. The channel mode you'll need to be in is 15 channel mode. Read the manual to figure this out. Your controller i believe blocks channels in 16. So your first platinum spot should be on 15 channel mode in the fixture menu and set to starting address of 1. the second fixture needs to be at starting address of 17. Let me know if that helps.

i put fixture address for the first one set at 001 and the second one set at 018.you are saying that is not correct.and i also been playing with user mode.basic standard etc .very frustrating.any guidance would be greatly appreciated

what should the second fixture be set at.

you will need to run the fixtures in 16 channel mode or "Basic" mode. first fixture should be set to dmx address 1 and the 2nd to 17.

thanks.it works great.would a software based set up work better and would it be easy to setup.any recommendations.

we offer three different programs basically. Compu Live (first released in 2006)
Compu Show (first released Jan 18th of this year)
Emulation (has constant updates so there is always something new. I forget when it was released)
Take a look. you can download all of these programs and try them.

I'm using the 17 channel profile and so far...it's working great. With fixtures like these....software control is really the only way to go. Just play around with the different brands to find the package that works best for you and your needs.
