i have them on my cf, but the only options from the menu screen are to load fixture profile form com port or from disk. the load from cf is not an option, does that mean that my cf isn't working because it isn't being recognized?
The SD2 originally had a disk drive so the menus still say disk instead of CF. The CF card must be formatted FAT16. Use the "FAT" setting if formatting from a PC.
I had it formatted to FAT, which I understand is the same as FAT 16. my sd2 displays "disk not found" or something like that, I can't remember exactly I'm at work right now. I really need to start programming because I have a show on Saturday so any and all help is greatly appreciated. thanks again, j.
it says, "disk drive not installed" card formatted to FAT 32. i hope programming is easier than loading profiles, so far not too impressed for a $1500 lighting console.
If you are getting that error message, then something is wrong inside the SD2. That error only shows up if the SD2 can't find the CF controller board. If this is a new SD2 something has happened in transit because the CF was used to install the software at the factory. Call Elation service tommorrow and try to get it straightened out. Sorry but that's the best I can do for you here on the forum.
