I have ben an American DJ/Elation/Global customer for well over 20 years and have seen many changes since then.

I have many Elation controllers including DMX Operator Pro, MyDMX, and am just now getting Emulation and Magic260. I used to have one of the old Show Designers (ca 2003)

In the past five years, fixtures have all become easier to program because they have movement macros built in, chases built in, etc.

We used to have to program multiple step chases to get our lights to do anything but now we just have to make "presets".

This is great but the lighting controllers, especially the simpler ones, have not kept up.

Since I am constantly upgrading lights, I don't always want to spend a ton of time programming for each instance.

The biggest feature missing on lower end controllers and software is a "Scene Stacking" or the ability to run several scenes or presets at once (using HTP).

The DMX Operator Pro has ability to run PARS and moving lights - but only run 1 scene of moving lights or mix a bunch of chases together. (Which is the closest to this request as it comes) .

A new product should be rack mountable, ability to run moving lights with scenes that can be stacked (like the Magic 260's design), add the ability to set up banks of LED PARS and acces presets and chases (like the ADJ RGB3C or more like the Chauvet Obey 4), and hopefuly, still a bank of traditional Pars like the DMX Operator has.

With the exception of the Emulation, nothing I have will stack scenes. It's easier to create, for example, a set of scenes for X Scans, a set of scenes for VioMoons, a set of scenes for Quad Gems, a set of scenes or on the fly for LED PARS, and ability to bring up traditional dimmers -- all on the fly and mixing live.

----

On a higher end note, I would like to see a controller and lighting midi interface complete with a software host that works like the ADJ DP2 --(which has a sound card and a midi controller in the same rack mount housing).

Thank you.

Hope to see it soon.
