Hey. New to the forum. I need a profile for the Irradiant Mini move. it's 4 channels. I dont have a link to the values, but i can type them if needed. Anyone know where i can get one or can you make me one? I'm using Compu Live software and have already checked the online catalog with no luck. Thanks

Okay here is what I have. Hope it is what you need

CH1 0-255 Vert Movement (270 degrees)
CH2 0-255 Horz Movement (360 degrees)
CH3 0-36 Blackout
37-71 Blue
72-107 Green
108-142 Red
143-179 Blue and Green
180-215 Red and Blue
216-251 Green and Red
252-255 Blue, Red and Green (white)
CH4 0-255 Strobe fast to slow

Hope this is what you need. Thanks a million. Will the profile have movement macros and presets or just the basic operations? You're a life saver

Well, I downloaded it and installed it but it is acting very crazy. None of the channels were working properly. So i hooked it up to my old DMX board (DMX 55) and addressed it as fixture number 1. It seems that this may actually be a 5 channel fixture. Maybe the manual is wrong?!? CH 1 does nothing at all. Then the remaining 4 channels operate the fixture just as described. I hate to ask this, but can you make another one with updated channels? So CH 1 would do nothing(???) and then CH2 would be Vert Move, CH3 would be Horz Move, Ch4 would be the color Macros and CH5 would be strobe. Sorry for the mix up, maybe I got the wrong manual?
Thanks
It s closer. The movement macros are not working properly. Nothing seems to resemble a "heart" or "square" and no control with the mouse. The Blackout and first color (red icon) do nothing. The Green icon turns on Blue, the Blue icon turns on green, the Red/Green turns on Red. 1st color macro is Blue/Green, 2nd is red/blue, and the one marked COL 1 is red/green. No Red/Blue/Green. Also the beam flickers all the time. Anything?
Well the only think I can think of is for you to write down the values preset for preset. since the manual is not correct I have nothing to go off of and you have the actual fixture and can test more quickly than I ever could.
Or you can learn how to create your own profiles. It really is not hard at all once you understand the basic concept behind it.
Sincerely,
Could you try one more before i give it a run? Could you make it like this?

CH1 Nothing somehow
CH2 0-255 Vert Movement (270 degrees)
CH3 0-255 Horz Movement (360 degrees)
CH4 0-36 Blackout
37-71 Blue
72-107 Green
108-142 Red
143-179 Blue and Green
180-215 Red and Blue
216-251 Green and Red
252-255 Blue, Red and Green (white)
CH5 0-255 Strobe fast to slow

No mode setting. I'll try this and if it doesnt work I'll try to do it myself, it will just take a lot longer with a lot of trial and error.
Nope. Colors are right, but light still flickers and movements are wrong. The following info is also in the manual. Maybe you know if these settings are affecting performance:

Detailed DMX 512 address code as following:

Light #1 original address 0 binary code reading 10
#2 address 1 Binary 10.5
#3 address 2 Binary 10.6
#4 3 10.5.6
#5 4 10.7
#6 5 10.5.7
#7 6 10.6.7
#8 7 10.5.6.7
#9 8 10.8
#10 9 10.5.8

Dont know if this is inportant or not, just exploreing all ooptions
Those would be your dip switch addresses. Those need to match what the software is telling you for starting address of each fixture. How many of these do you have and what did you use for a starting address? We could try putting pan and tilt back in the standard order see if that clears up the movements. Also maybe the pre set movements weren't exactly as you thought they would look? for the flickering make sure the strobe value is at 0.
Sincerely,
I'm running 8 of them. I have to address them 1 thru 8? I'm trying to address them starting @ 420 in the software due to other lights taking up the majority of the other channels. No channels are over lapping. I'll check the strobe but would be interested in trying pan/tilt back to normal. HELP! what the heck is going on? I've never had this much trouble inserting a page.
ok so then starting at 420 which is dips 3.6.8.9 and 10 on (10 will be on for all of the fixtures as I'm sure it puts the fixture in DMX mode.
Fixture 2 428 dips 3.4.6.8.9 and 10.
Fixture 3 is 436 dips 3.5.6.8.9 and 10.
Fixture 4 is 444 dips 3.4.5.6.8.9. and 10 on. Fixture 5 is 452 dips 3.7.8.9. and 10 on.
Fixture 6 is 460 dips 3.4.7.8.9. and 10 on.
Fixture 7 is 468 dips 3.5.7.8.9. and 10 on.
Fixture 8 is 476 dips 3.4.5.7.8.9. and 10 on.
I can modify the profile for correct pan and tilt channels. Let me know. And I have never heard of so much trouble for such a small fixture either.
Sincerely,
Yes, on my old board with sliders, I allowed for 16 channels per fixture and the worked perfectly. I contacted the manufacturer (in Hong Kong, of course)and the say that they may not be compatible with Compulive. That they have had this issue before and I should just use a 196 or 240 channel board. I tried to create a patch with 16 channels for Compu live, the 1st 4 controlling lights with no luck, but then again I dont know if I did it right.
Oh so you want me to add empty channels to the profile so that way it uses 16 channels? Sure i can do that. From which link above is the profile you want modified?

Also Yes Compu Show is simply amazing. if you have a 1024EC or 2049Fc you will not be able to use compu show software. If you have a Compu Cue basic, Compu cue, or Compu Show SD you can use compu show and compu live.
Sincerely,
