Using CompuLive06:

Maybe I've asked a similar question before, but this is a little different:

I'm creating a new scene or switch with several steps. Let's say I want the only difference b/n each step to be the color of my LED PAR cans. So for example, I want Step 1 to be Red, Step 2: Blue, Step 3: Green, etc. Let's also assume that I already have a Red scene, Blue scene, and Green scene already created. When creating this new scene with steps, is there any way to simply select one of my existing Red, Blue or Green scenes to be the color setting for each step, so that I don't have to go in and set the color for each individual light for each individual step?

I know color palettes have been discussed here before, and to my knowledge still do not exist in this program Frowner Although palettes would be nice, what I'm searching for is slightly different.

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks,
Brian

Jingles,
Yes that is effectively what I'm asking.

I can use the color manager, but I hope you can understand how much longer that will take: 1 scene = 20 steps x 16 PAR cans per step x 2 colors per step x 3 DMX values per color. 1 scene could take upwards of an hour when I'm talking about a lot of steps and lot of different colors. If what I'm asking is not possible though, I suppose that is what I'll have to do.

You know how when you create a Cycle, you can just select the Scenes that make up each step of that Cycle? That's exactly what I'm trying to do, but in a Scene instead of a Cycle.

Thanks,
Brian
