PS 5R Pan Issue

I have 2 PS 5Rs running via Martin Light Jockey via DMX addressing.
When I try to self test from the lights themselves or run via LJ, neither light will pan correctly if at all.
I've tried
resetting motors - no error codes
unplugging - nothing
checking all of my programing against others - nothing
self test - won't pan
adjust pan - doesn't move
I've run out of ideas, any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

is there any resistance on the pan? meaning when powered up if you move it do you feel resistance? or is it free?

There was no resistance on one (snapped belt) and some on the other (dirty sensor).
Found it today...
