Now wouldn't that be forward thinking for a company. To keep an updated list of profiles to use for it's product lines. Imagine the time savings for it's users.
It's been suggested, for some reason people are asked to e-mail per request. I'd also rather see all the fixture files be made available, it would make things easier for all involved IMO...
You could also simply request the newest entire library? But for now yes we are keeping it per request by email only. Sorry. We have our reasons. Sincerely,
Here is the latest .wcn file for Magic 260. This contains all of the latest ADJ and elation profiles for the Magic 260. http://db.tt/8bdNvWO Sincerely,
The problem with compiled WCN files is there is no way to get the individual fixture files out. The idea is to have all the individual fixture files available whenever one needs to compile their own WCN. I've been in the IT field for more than 20 years and you still can find a few vendors who force you to enter licensing information just to get to their patches and updates, this always results in a lower level of support versus vendors who just make everything available. Keeping stuff hidden or only available on request is really not a good way to foster support or make users feel the product they purchased is well supported and openly shared by its users. I know how to use Fixture Edit but it's kludgy as is Ulink, I'd much rather go online and browse a library of fixtures and download what I need. Whatever reasons you have, I hope you re-consider just openly supporting these consoles and make every fixture you have available...
