Hey gfuller2000,
I think you have to have the "Masters" button pressed, in order to travel back on your scenes. Hope this helps. I would then load you scenes 8 at a time on each bank.

Also on another note if you are using "HTP" (Highest takes priority...i.e Dimmers, or RGB)lighting, you will have issues, as this board only runs "LTP" (last takes priority...i.e automated lights)so that might be why some of you values stay at previous levels. I had to do some major scene programming to get my LED lighting to work with this board, as the run in “HTP”
Reason why I am asking,

is because I have LED lighting and had to do some creative programming to use the master scene fade.

If I had a scene that went from blue to purple, and the back to blue, I had problems with masters, I would slide scene 1 up to full (which would be blue), I would then slide scene 2(which would be purple) up and down , no issues, But if I cross-faded between scene 2 back to scene 1, then all of my red (red leds+blue leds =purple)channels would still be set to the last previous value.

Reason being, Red was turned on in scene 2 but had no value to return to for the scene 1, so it just stayed on (hence, LTP)

I had to set every red channel to a DMX value of 1 in scene 1 (blue), allowing pullback to “ a zero” red, So I had to do this on every scene I created, to be able to reset the "beginning value”. Hope this makes sense.

This was a real pain in the butt!!!, I moved to Compulsive, (I ment Compulive Wink )which has HTP, also I think the SD3 has HTP in playback.

Before I had this process in place, I would get really funky colors, and messed up scenes, or scenes that would not return to the previous state.

This is why I asked about HTP, and LTP lighting.
