I really don't recommend using the Scene Setter with LED fixtures since the Scene Setter is a Stage Lighting and Par Can Controller. I would recommend using an intelligent controller to control LEDs. It will work with your controller but you will encounter a lot of obstacles and difficulties.
I'm now looking at the Magic 260 console. It can do up to 24 LED fixtures and some pars. Anybody have any experience with programing the Magic 260? I want to have individual control of each LED Par 64. Especially brightness, chases and scenes.
If you want to individually control the LEDs, you must put each fixture on a seperate and individual DMX channel. The first fixture will be on address 1 or Dipswitch 1 on only. The second fixture will have to depend on how many channels the first fixture had. If the first fixture consisted of 7 DMX channels, the second fixture will be on address 8 or dipswitch 4 on only. Try this out. If you have any more questions, please email me at JoelChen@americandj.com. Thanks.
