Show Designer 2CF: Memory Is Locked

Catastrophic failure last night at load in.

When SD2 fired up, no buttons would respond, when trying to reload our shows, any menu selection response was "Memory Is Locked. Menu item..."

Fortunately, we had some software on a laptop to limp through the show (46 fixtures!).

What is the issue and how to resolve?

There is a memory lock feature in the menu that prevents unwanted tampering. This locks out the buttons. Press the "add" button when cycling through the menu to get to hidden functions like memory lock or erase all memory. Read the manual under "memory lock" in the menu section.

Yes, you are right. When I read the manual as pushing the "add" button, I looked down and saw the "plus" sign - obviously pushing that didn't work.

The console is unlocked now. Thanks.
